About Us

Meditrain South has been providing the First Aid courses that covers Southland and Otago areas since 1991.

We are registered with NZQA as a Private Training Establishment(PTE) and our First Aid courses are recognized by the Ministry of Education and meet the minimum workplace requirements specified by worksafe.

Students that has completed our course will receive a valuable learning experience as a first responder in emergency situation.

Meet Margaret Laughton

Margaret has over 35 years experience in first aid and belongs to a first response unit. With ten years of experience in working as a Mountain Safety Instructor, Has NZRC level 5, Works as an Occupational Health Nurse and Has worked as a midwife.
